Terms and Conditions – Invoice Universe
Effective Date: 14th May 2025
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your
use of the Invoice Universe website and subscription services. By subscribing,
you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Provided
Invoice Universe provides online invoice and quotation
management services, including:
- Creation
of invoices and quotations
- Access
to a secure user dashboard
- Payment
tracking functionality
- Invoice
and quotation storage
We reserve the right to enhance, modify, or discontinue
features at any time.
2. Subscription and Minimum Term
- Subscriptions
are billed on a monthly basis.
- By
signing up, you agree to a minimum contract term of 12 months.
- After
the initial term, the subscription will continue on a rolling monthly
basis unless cancelled in accordance with these Terms.
- Subscription
fees may be reviewed and increased periodically in line with market
conditions, operational costs, and industry rates. Reasonable notice
will be provided prior to any price change.
3. Payment Terms
- Payments
will be collected via Direct Debit on a monthly basis.
- Subscription
fees are payable in advance on the agreed billing date.
- If a
payment fails:
- We
may retry collection
- Services
may be suspended until payment is received
- Continued
non-payment may result in termination of your account.
- All
fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
4. Cancellation and Cooling-Off Period
a) 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (UK Law)
If you are a consumer (not acting in the course of
business), you have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of
signing up, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information,
Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
- If
you request services to begin during this period, you:
- Acknowledge
that services may be delivered immediately
- Agree
that a reasonable charge may apply for services already provided
- If
services have been fully performed within the 14 days, your right
to cancel may be lost.
b) Minimum Term Cancellation
- After
the 14-day cooling-off period, you remain committed to the 12‑month
minimum term.
- You
may cancel at any time, but cancellation will only take effect at the end
of the 12‑month term.
c) Post-Term Cancellation
- After
the initial term, you may cancel by providing 30 days’ written notice.
- No
refunds will be given for partial billing periods.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide
accurate and up-to-date information
- Keep
login credentials secure
- Use
the service for lawful business purposes only
- Ensure
all invoices and quotations comply with UK tax and legal requirements
You are solely responsible for the content you create and
issue.
6. Dashboard and Payment Tracking
Invoice Universe provides a dashboard where users can:
- View
invoices and quotations in one place
- Track
payment status (paid, pending, overdue)
Disclaimer:
This feature is for convenience only. We do not guarantee accuracy, and users
remain responsible for verifying payment status and financial records.
7. Service Availability
- We
aim to provide uninterrupted service but do not guarantee continuous
availability.
- Downtime
may occur due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
- We
shall not be liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with:
- UK
GDPR
- Data
Protection Act 2018

9. Intellectual Property
All software, systems, and content remain the property of
Invoice Universe.
You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce any part of the platform without
prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:
- We
shall not be liable for:
- Indirect,
consequential, or financial losses
- Loss
of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Errors
in invoices or quotations created by users
- Missed
or delayed payments
- Our
total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding
3 months.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:
- Death
or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud
or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any
liability that cannot be excluded under UK law
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You
breach these Terms
- Payments
remain unpaid
- The
service is misused or used unlawfully
We reserve the right to remove access immediately in such
cases.
12. Amendments to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
You will be notified of any material changes, and continued use constitutes
acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales,
and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
